How to Wash Your Clothes in Your Hotel Room
So in a synaptic pulse that seemed like such a terrific idea at the time I headed for the bathroom. I turned the hot water on full blast and plugged the shower drain. I then gathered all my dirty clothes and threw them in the water. Then I proceeded to grab a bar of soap and began hand washing my clothes.
Next came the real problem though, drying them. Most of my garments ended up on the bed and on the hangers in the closet but my intuition tells me I’m going to be disappointed they’re not fully dry in the morning.
For me, doing laundry is not fun at all. It’s a lot of time consuming work to hang up your clothes, button all the buttons on your shirts, hang your stuff to dry, etc.
So with all that said, if you’re a bachelor and you’re on vacation you can do what I did, turn your hotel shower into your own laundry machine adventure. Or better yet, you can jump in a cab with your dirty clothes and have a real laundry mat wash, iron and fold your clothes for pennies. Lesson learned.
