Landed In Tokyo, See Ya Singapore…

Singapore has been an incredible experience.  I made some amazing friends along the way and it was quite sad to leave today.  Originally I planned on two weeks but that got extended to a full month after I realized how awesome the country is.
But, the Japanese Sakura fesitval (flowering cherry blossoms) are in season right […]

Going Bananas at the Singapore Zoo

So my friend Mark’s sister, Marike and I decided to go to the Singapore Zoo today.  We had a good day and I snapped over 777 photographs.  Lucky for you, I’m going to give you the top 15 photos instead of them all, lol.
For lunch, we ate at the Zoo food court and enjoyed meals of Indian and Chinese […]

A Sexy View of Singapore

My socialite Singaporean friend, Caryn invited me to a very special invitation only party tonight.  The event was held at the tallest hotel in Singapore, the Swissôtel The Stamford. When it was constructed, it was the tallest hotel in the world and is a stellar, 741 feet tall.
After we took the elevator to the 71st floor […]

My Singapore Friends in Pictures…

Here are some pictures of the friends I made in Singapore:

Gerri Goh (nickname: GG) She’s a native Singaporean I met at The Butter Factory nightclub. Funny name but awesome tunes and a great night!  At her BBQ the next day I got to sample some awesome home cooking and was treated especially kind by her family.

Thuy […]

Friday Night at Mimolette in Singapore

Before we get to the scoop on Friday night, I just changed hotels. Just like the Jefferson’s “I’m Moving Up”! The ParkRoyal Hotel on Kitchener Road is one of the best values in Singapore. I locked in a S$220 ($157 USD) a night rate for a fabulous club-room with access to […]

A Night of Luxury at Naumi

I had a really profitable day yesterday with my internet marketing business so I decided to reward myself.  I went on TripAdvisor.com and found a boutique hotel that I knew would be heaven.  Some people say that spending S$500 ($357 USD) on a hotel room is ridiculous and I wholeheartedly agree.  But, I did it anyways – […]

Singapore is Titillating!

Arriving in Singapore I was apprehensive. I knew that my month long journey in Cambodia and Laos was about to get modern and it made me feel uneasy. After a while, the chaos in the third world becomes comforting and the thought of modern efficiency seems scary. Ironic, isn’t it!
Normally I’m all about modern conveniences […]

Angkor Wat Archaeological Temples (Day 3)

My last day at Angkor Wat was phenomenal. My favorite temple of the day was Prasat Preah Khan, one of the largest Angkor Wat monuments. The central area is relatively compact and maze-like but has lots of beautiful photo opportunities. There is a library like Grecian styled two-story structure at the North East corner of […]

Angkor Wat Archaeological Temples (Day 2)

Today I continued exploring the ruins/temples at Angkor Wat. One of the most unique highlights of the day was the Ta Phrom temple, where they filmed the movie Tomb Raider. Over the course of hundreds of years, massive trees have grown throughout the site, creating a visually unique mix of lush nature and stone ruins.
Another […]

Angkor Wat Archaeological Temples (Day 1)

Angkor Wat is a Archaeological site with tens of unique temples built by the Khmer kings in the 12th century. The main attraction is the Angkor Wat temple but some of the additional temples are just as exciting and unique. I’ll let the photos do the talking…
See the Angkor Wat Day 1 photos here.
